Knickerbocker Mansion ( built circa 1788/89)
The Knickerbocker Historical Society (KHS) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to restore the late 18th Century Knickerbocker Mansion at Schaghticoke, NY. The KHS provides tours of the Mansion, living history programs, and presentations on colonial New York. The society is also engaged in grant writing to finance the restoration of the Mansion. The KHS also holds several annual public events (listed below) to raise funds for educational programming and site maintenance.

A Visit From St. Nick: December 5, 2008 (6 p.m. - 7 p.m. and 7 p.m - 8:00 p.m.) St. Nicholas visits the Mansion to meet all the good little boys and girls.
The story of The Baker's Dozen will be performed and light refreshments served.
